If you are wanting to add a compressor when you get your FJ, I thought you might want some engine bay shots to start your planning. :)

whats that little module on the fire wall neer the master cylinder?

for a brand new vehicle, that wiring in the second picture is really a mess. looks pretty otherwise, though!

I had one of those electronic rust controlers on my JDM Surf.
Didn't seem to stop the rust and they don't salt the roads in Japan!:D

Huh didnt know there was such a thing. i guess cause we dont need that knid of stuff down here in Texas

Electronic Rust Inhibitor.

You might ask your installer if they've ever heard of wire loom; aka convoluted tubing.

Dealer installed. As was the security system in that area as well.

I would take it back and ask for a professional installer. Sorry, but that's just me and loose wires (yes, I see the wire ties) in my new truck just wouldn't cut it.

GREAT, I can hear the complaints coming already......(service advisor hiding)

AATLAS1X,
Are you a service advisor? If yes, what would you do? (Just curious...)

Well I wasn't going to say anything since he didn't say who installed it but that is a terrible job.

Can't put it in the top left, thats where the second battery is going.... :D unless I can fit them both in the factory location by turning them sideways??? I plan on moving my pair of 6 packs from my truck and giving my truck a single battery again before I sell it.

Ya know, I gotta overwhelmingly agree with B...I wouldn't even allow myself to do a job like that unless it was a temporary trail fix.

I'm putting my Optima in the empty on the right as well. Is anyone using a compressor other than ARB? (high volume pumps?)

Maybe its just me but unless you have a winch and use it regularly I just dont see the need for 2 batteries? I have a winch on the 40 and only one batt. and havent needed more.....Must be a Canada thing ;)
On the Quick air, I have a co2 tank that I built for 1/2 of what they cost, Sure you need to refill them but I can go almost a year before I need a refill and I do help other that dont have the means.
Good luck
