Added some extra lighting today. A couple of eagle eyes in the rear to supplement the reverse lights and a couple of 18w mini-bars in the front.

I would trade for snow in a second!Cool pics. Looks like a fun winch day. Can't wait to see dirt/mud here in CT.
I found a custom cut LC 9.5 front axle locally that is set up to use the 80 knuckles and 9.5 third. I'm thinking I'm going to pick that up this week and look at swapping out the front axle. Time to hunt for a rear e-locker third.
If you're interested, give me a call.Is that front axle in Washougal? If so, I have been eyeballing that for a long timeSomeone needs to pick it up. I'd be interested in your front when done! lol
Just getting back into a LC after years of other experiments. I had two FJ40's before and am wondering what makes this axle you speak of a "9.5"? If my memory serves me my 40 manual stated that the ring gear was 8.875". It's a 9.5" ring gear (technically 24 cm). The confusion comes from people like Randy's Ring and Pinion stating that the lunchbox lockers are for 8.875" ring gears (I don't know why they say this, maybe @Poser knows).Just getting back into a LC after years of other experiments.
