We had 2 transformer pop here in SW Durham, I think some tree branches must have fell. Luckily still have power.

We have about 4.25"-4.5" as of 1:45 pm today.

Still have power in SE Durham too. Lots of lights out on Paige road though, watch out over there.

Do you do house calls?
ON MY WAY! ok maybe not. I've already had one glass of Eagle Rare when I really should be working.

Just measured the snow depth on the deck; 7" on the floor and 6" on a chair. And not showing any signs of slowing down.

Stayed out for three hours riding around earlier and it was slick. Several times we had trouble making a turn at an intersection.

Gf's flight been delayed by 8 hrs now and they just canceled the later flight from Tampa to RDU. Might have to go rescue her cat in Raleigh.

Depth is up to Sam's junk, well, whats left of it. Hes a 75 lb border collie. Hes cutting a path as he runs... LOL. Overall, we have about 8 inches of snow on average thru the yard.

SHRINKAGE JERRY!!!

Finally got to use my winch for self recovery reasons. Did a self recovery on the way home. A Truck passed me driving in the middle of the road and my tire dropped on to a bad shoulder with a ditch. I tried to drive out of it for a second but could tell I was going to start sliding. I pulled cable across the street to a telephone pole and pulled out.

Its the first time I think Brit was thankful for my hobby. 5 minutes we were on our way.

Nice work!

7.25" at my house in south Durham. This is an enormous amount of snow.

A bunch of power out all along University and MLK in SW Durham. Tried to make a pizza run, but no one was open.

We have lost power several times for a few seconds, but nothing serious so far. I haven't really done the break-in period yet on the new generator from the last round of potential power losses - - I better make sure the battery is topped up :)

My biggest issue driving around today was forgetting my driver side window is SLOW and risked it not going back up while yelling if the lady in the ditch was OK LOL. She didn't want any part of my help - I think the whole package scared her - - LX with lift, me in overalls, etc.

Clearly the pics needed for this post are the overalls (with you in them).........sheesh :) A lot of package talk and sizes in this thread today.
