Ron,

I have a similar plate chiller, but I'm using it the opposite way to chill hot wart from 200* to 80* for fermentation. You have to keep in mind the amount of heat you get will vary based on the flow rate. I'd suggest you get a simple in-line thermometer to make sure you don't burn yourself. You'll most likely have to play with your pump output and shower head to get it dialed in correctly based on your heat circulation. The continuously variable pumps work well for this, you will burn up constant pressure pumps choking them off -

Lots of motorhomes/RVs have eternal showers with valved, handheld shower heads. The hose rolls/wads up into an external compartment. Check one of those out.....

Tucker, The pump I have does have a bypass built in, so no damage there. It will be a trial and error on temp. Might have to install a mixing valve, if it's a big problem.

Ferntucky, I haven't really looked a lot, but I'm going to use quick disconnects for the cold water and shower head. I'll have to do some reading on up them.

Bob, We'd just get in trouble! :)

manifold V2.0 much nicer. good work.

Thanks Lambcrusher! Hopefully now, the plumber's union will take down the picket, in front of the farm gate! :)

I got the 71 back from the glass guy yesterday and took a good look at it today. Over all it looks great, but he has some issues to fix. For some reason, he decided to use 1/4" glass instead of stock 3/16". I like heavy duty, but the four door windows are tight, so he's buying new track material, that will fit the 1/4" better, we'll see. Most of the molded pieces are good quality and fit the way they should, most! The vent window rubber isn't right. He is going to trim down the thickness of the bottom, so I can lock the handle. Right now it just doesn't want to close.

We didn't do the tailgate until the electric goes in. On another thought, I haven't warmed up to the green tint yet. It's a lot darker looking under the shop light, better in the sun light and I'll get use to it, but...

Thanks Guys,

I've got more fish to fry, so need to move on. I want to hear this thing run. My Wife has her duffle bag packed and looking at road maps, she's ready for a trip.

Bob, can't wait to install your custom scuff plates!

Ron, if you don't like the color, we can switch pigs and you can start over! Lol.

Love the pig man! I'm going factory color with mine. But seeing your color makes me wish I wasn't simetimes! Love the color combo.

Thanks! It's good to have friends. :) But, if we trade, you'll have to tell my Wife, she's not going on a trip for awhile!

Day of the dashes. Just looked at JMack's and not even sure I should post mine. :) Panels are aluminum and will get powder coated black. I'm thinking of making the glove box panel out of steel, so I could weld studs on the back and not have the screw heads. Here's a look.
