Plans have changed, instead of fixing/replacing the ARB that has spit oil since day one, I sent the rear 3rd member to ZUK for a new Harrop e-locker.

From what I've read and seeing his work, I feel like I made the right choice. He'll check everything and if worn it will be replaced.

Just looking in the box has my confidence up as I suspect no problem with the Harrop E-Locker and how it was set up.

Is this a stock 55 that you sent in which they did the E-locker setup on? Sorry I have not been following this thread.

That's ok, sometimes I don't follow it either. It's a FJ 60 third installed in a Diamond housing, 4 Runner disc brakes with full float RCV shafts. I had a ARB locker in it and couldn't fix a problem, so we yanked it.

I filled the wagon with fuel today knowing the gauge gets a little inaccurate when low and I wanted a full tank leaving on the trip. 57.6 gals. and $175 later I am now ready. At least I now know she will suck air and keep running. Theoretically that will get us to Grand Junction, Co. over 1,000 miles, but probably less pulling the trailer.

For those of you that don't go in the trailer forums, I've been putting together a different trailer for this year. It's a M101 A2/A3 that I shortened the axle and made a new tongue. She's not done yet, but for this season it stays unfinished. We'll be traveling over some Forest Service roads in Utah on our way down to the Party, so hoping my welds hold up. I cut out 9" of the axle which makes it close to the 55's axle width and tucks the tires back under the fenders. The trailer axle was made to the same width as the Humvee (wide). I wanted that axle because it has a great bump up for ground clearance and extremely heavy duty.
