OK, I did not see this earlier. I wrote those instructions about 7 years ago and I never went back to add pictures. I guess I need to do that. Occasionally we get people calling that could not figure it out or had interference. Hence the comments on brackets that need bending etc.
I will go back and revisit the instructions.
Jomo's pictures show the correct installation. The spacer needs to be on the top hole and the bottle needs to be on the other side of the bracket in this picture
This design has not changed and the brackets are cnc plasma cut and then bent. There should not be any inconsistencies in hole locations. The only thing that is typically a variable is the brake lines and wire harness that could interfere.
Also, on weekends instead of calling, it is best to email. I do check emails on the weekend and will normally respond to critical issues.
I might revisit that upright bracket as well and see if we cab change it to better clear the cruise control cable. If it is too tight, it sometimes help to put a bigger step into the top tab.
