After several weeks of collecting dust the Slee 2.5 remote res shocks are on !! they are truly works of art ..... I have a Slee heavy set of springs and the BL's and swapbar drops, I added the Slee rear panhard and Landtank longer LCA's.... and then 10mm OME coil spacers to removes some of the spring "clunk"

They also installed my Landtank DC front DS and a new OEM rear ( thanks Beno !) - that got rid of the last vibrations in the drivetrain..... still have a slight one in one DuraTrac I think.....

Tried a new shop as I my usual was too busy..... impressed so far. Ahead of the time promised plus they were under budget.....

With only 100 miles the ride is noticbly smoother and the small stuff much less annoying as I go over pavement creases and potholes..... SLee said they'd get smoother with 1000 miles on so can't wait...
but so far it's really impressive over the OME 's....... hoping to put her thru the paces this weekend and report back....

Some pics - will post more once I get some time on it and can crawl under the truck

cheers

How does that reservoir not hit the rear swaybar on compression? Must be the pic angle, but I look under my truck and envision the same if guessing your location

I think it's camera angle - the shop did test the full range on a ramp as we were debating bump stop changes and they said it flexed really well with no binding or issues other then at lock I tend to just rub one my driver side sliders .....

Looks awesome.

I have looked at those on line and thought they were VERY nice.

I put 200 miles on today - more impressed then before.... love the planted feeling at speed considering I'm pushing 3 tons... seems like a really good match for the springs on the 5 miles of dirt road I did and then downtown houston potholes....

now I just need to figure out the rear end vibration..... thinking rear diff or ? posting the issues for any ideas...

Well with 1500 milss on I can report that these exceed my expecations - but a note of cuation they are on the firmer side.... they totally transform highway handling and are amazing on chatter and washboard dirt roads, slow crawling seems very smooth as well for the limited bit I've had...... they do transmit some road feel thru but it's minimal - they are however not as slinky feeling as a JK - I swapped rigs for 5 miles of mixed dirt and gravel road Sunday and while the jeep was smoother it also gave less confidence and control. and at 2000lbs more the 80 still felt better on the road....

that said If I were to do it again I might consider soemthing with ajustable valving.... not sure I'm missing anything but it might be interesting.... Icon was 4-5 weeks out on their 2.5's when I pulled the trigger. ( no George this doens't mean you'll get a killer deal on a lightly used set of Slee's......)

What are your impressions now after a couple of years? I'm considering a 2-2.5" lift on my HDJ81, seems like Fox/Slee/ICON have a product that's a step above OME.

Might want to PM him (I'm actually interested too, my OME "L"s aren't my favorite).

I say you might want to PM him since his sig line looks like he is in a 100- series now. .???

Schwiiiiiiiing!!!!
