OK, another naive bypass shock question - what is a "clicker"?
guessing here - is that a name for the bypass check valves? Or an adjustment position detent?

Just a reference to the external adjustment knobs available on some remote reservoirs. (Not bypass specific) Generally giving you some valving adjustment without tearing into the shock. See the red knobs in the ADS shocks I posted earlier or same on Kings before me. Neither are bypass shocks.

Personally I feel like these are over marketed but I’ve never had any on my truck to play with. The concept is the same as say the shock on a mountain bike. And I never adjust those after I find my sweet spot. I’ve given confidence in Christo that he has had these shocks properly tuned for our application. That said unlike my mountain bike the weight of my truck varies more. So I wouldn’t mind having the ability to adjust the rear to play with it just to see.
