hey slee forgot to ask are you gonna integrate any sort of light system in there for the turn signals??

Turn signals on the LC are in the parking lights. If you have an LX, you could just get the LC parking lamps with the sockets and re-wire it.

yup i think the side ones do go but somewhere i thought i seen slee saying something about lights? I will check mine tonight if the marker ones go off with the signals

It has been about 2-1/2 months.... is there an eta for the new bumper?:bounce: how bout some teaser pics?

you guys ever gonna give up this dream? :grinpimp:

Believe it or not, we are working on it. Should fit a M12k winch. Catch is to make it fit all the models, which at this point is the plan, but can not be guaranteed. The extra lip on the LX470 as well as the 03 and later 100 does change things a lot. This has been a painful process. If I did this bumper the old fashioned way and not this dam 3D modeling, it would have been done.

sure Slee - now I suppose you're going to post a picture of it from the modeling software just to tease everyone again? :D

(hey guys, maybe this baiting of Slee thing is actually working now....?)

Simple solution then: Go back to the "old fashioned way" and kick these things out! :D

I'm really interested in how these are going to mount up. Toyota sure didn't make the easiest bumper mounting system to work around. The Tacos are just as bad and the FJ Cruisers are about the same as them. Having worked with a fabricator to build mine I completely understand the hurdles you are encountering and I imagine it further complicated by the different years and LX vs. LC issues.

Loud - you there right now? Takes some spy photo's would ya'??? :grinpimp:

See guys - we get all "chatty and giddy" about this and it scares the ^*&%$ out of Slee and he's goes dark again...

Dark? Just working. I could post pictures of the frame fixture if you want them :D

Due to fitting issues with different trucks we essentially had to build the front frame section of a 100 series so that we can ensure proper fitment of the bumpers. That is done, and the frame mounting plates are done, so next step is finalizing the center section, then do the wings. Those are already designed, but if the center is not correct then no use in making wings.

One thing that makes the 100 so difficult is that it needs to be close to the body, yet have enough space to allow the body movement.

If he's there in 30mins I'll take some unless he is offering to put em up...trying to get up and do some night skiing. ;)

Christo, I'd like to work on the dual swingout next month, you can use my truck.

Got em, indeed there is a frame mockup and a bumper (several different revisions) and even something that's now considered a collectors item that I may purchase.

I'll post the pictures later...I cought flack from my friends for wanting to stop in. :D it's an obsession
