hey christo not to hijack this thread but what year is your guys lx and did he swap out the ahc???; My 06 ahc when off on me again at a stop light:crybaby: I am not going to go with the new 200 series and plan on keeping my 06 lx and was thinking about doing the swap out like you did on your old 99 lx. I am still under warranty but i dont feel like going back and forth with the dealership.

We did not swap it out, we change he front torsion bars to Land Cruiser parts and the rear springs as well, then we re-adjusted the sensors. It is still running like that today. It was a 1999 truck.

there are a couple actually.

Slee, will you be putting anything over the winch area or will it be an open design as shown?

That's going to be the first footstep leading to the custom ladder accessory that will take you up and over the hood to be able to access the roof :flipoff2:.

The devil made me say that :D

thanks for the repsonse christo; will keep waiting for the front bumper actually spring or summer will be good for me in reards to budget (income tax return)

A little levity is good, but how 'bout Mr. Loud's question? I was wondering the same thing. Will the bumper remain mouth agape until a winch is installed, or will there be something to cover the center opening if you want to go winchless?

Aside from the opening I think it looks great!

Looking forward to the production version.

Ik kan een beetje Duits spreken... Dameer misschien een beetje Afrikaans ook begrijpen? :)

The bumper will be intended to be used with a winch. That is the first priority. If we can work it that we can make a decent looking cover for non-winch then we will do it. However that is not our aim. There will be a tube similar to the BlueBerry Bumper.

hey slee i was at your site looking at blueberry; it seems your proto type is a bit bigger? is that true? or does blueberrires' bumper looks smaller b/c of the lift?

also forgot to ask if you will package the bumper with a winch or should be get these on our own??

The wings are bigger due to the difference in fenders. On the BlueBerry we cut the fenders to allow for the tires, so the wings could be shorter. Also, we did increase the front face a little to better accommodate the M12k winch mounting (it needs to be mounted on the bottom and front) Technically on the BlueBerry it is not mounted correctly.

We also moved the tow points to the inside of the frame rails to make the center piece narrower.

thanks for the response; I knew i was not as dumb as i look:D I hope you dont go to big; not sure if everyone is thinking like i am but i dont want a monster bumper like the arb thing.

I saw the proto in person over the weekend. It's really nice, much nicer than the photos. He's got some other fun stuff in the pipe as well....;)

Pipeline.......:smokin:

hey slee forgot to ask are you gonna integrate any sort of light system in there for the turn signals??
