My FJ 40 came to me without a skid plate. I bought one from Craigslist that was supposed to be for an FJ40. However the width appears to be too wide for my chassis.

The skid plate is about 37 inches from bolt hole to bolt hole. My chassis is about 32 inches wide. Could this plate be for a different year 40, or is it for something completely different?

I've got two skid plates (circa '78 FJ40) laying against my shop. Not sure what the ride would be from Tucson.

I recently put an H41 one in, so I take it the later 4 speed one would work?

I used this one with my H41 and it held up quite well:
