Side Trim on "Collectors Edition"

Hello Mud,

Does any one have the part numbers or availability on the side trim that came on the collectors edition?

I tried to search with out any luck. I know I can get the "VX Limited" from JP, however I'm specifically looking for the US OEM trim.

If you’re talking about the plain grey door trim then no longer available.

The set of gray trim that says FOUR WHEEL DRIVE on the front doors was still available as of 2015 when I bought a set from Onur. (minus the very back pieces which were nla).

If my notes are right then The parts are.

I got the very back pieces from a junkyard.

The link on the bottom will take you to toyota parts deal. All of the door trim is in the “exterior trim” sections. I’ve been down this rabbit hole. The front door trim will say “four wheel drive” like the ROW Landcruisers. It won’t be blank like the CE or 40th door trim. also if I remember correctly the trim that goes behind the back fender flares may be NLA. Good luck!

So I guess guys are just going without when they repaint? I d ont mind the 4x4 fronts but I don't believe any of the rears are available even overseas. I'd love to get a complete set.

I just kept my eyes on the parting out section until somebody was parting out a collectors edition and bought the side trim from them.

I am looking to remove my Lx450 trim & looking for a way to cover up at least some of the holes.

If they are from China, I think that they are trash. I used double stick tape to temporarily stick a couple pieces just to see how they’d look. Back quarter panel does not have the side marker cut out. Bought a set and threw them in my attic and never put them on. Would not recommend them.

Looks like those just say 4 wheel drive, nothing about VX limited. You linked me to this thread FYI

LockedCollector, what makes you say they are trash? They appear to be reasonably close to the originals and fit okay. Looks like the black part is shiny plastic where I think it's matte on the OEM stuff. They just feel chintzy?
