Hell, I don't even have that!:steer:

Like I said, my hood isn't modified.
The rear lift gate and tail gate are in good shape. Of course they were replaced bacause I destroyed the old parts.

I've since removed the offending exhaust and the flares. Now the flares don't rattle, but, the exhaust does. Whatever...
I love just watching guys take their rigs across the creek there. That is unless they take 8 hours to get through.

Butch-

Looks like we've got a cat-fight between Tooth Fairy and Millatruse! Put the claws away girls... Neither of you drives a pink-panty rig.

Can't wait to go on a trail with you guys again soon!

Now go on back to your little tiff.

Liftman I think you have the most damage and are on top of this thread. did you fall into the creek? What is the story? My wife is from Aberdeen, Scotland. Is this the river D?

. did you fall into the creek? What is the story??

IIRC- he was crossing the river and because of recent flooding it was much deeper than anticipated. Motor died likely after ingesting some H2O, and they left it there overnight. Came back and it had been pushed down river, tried to extract with trucks, no luck- came back with a tractor the next day and it had 'tumbled' down river.

Or something to that effect.

Just another day wheeling on Okinawa

Here are a few pics of my buddies truck on its side.
No injuries.

So went wheeling out in Calico this weekend and had a little run in with Doran. :D

I have run Doran in the past and have never seen it as torn up as it was. I did not get any pics of the trail...that was my buddies job. Hopefully he will post some of those soon.

Here are some pics from the truck in the driveway:

It's rolling!!!!!!!

I went out wheeling with a few guys near Weaver Lake on Saturday. The day was going well, having gotten through a couple quite challenging sections with no damage at all when... The guy in the BJ40 ahead of me stopped on the trail with some kind of mechanical problem. I stopped about 30 feet behind, and walked up to see what was up. He got out and we had enough time to see that the front slip-yoke had come apart when the truck started to move (I later learned that the e-brake wasn't working since a recent axle swap). It started slowly at first, then must have popped out of gear because it took off. Me and the owner lunged into the doors to try to get to the brake to get it stopped in time, but we were too late, the front of my HDJ81 did the job in stead.

Looking back, its very fortunate that my truck stopped his, because otherwise it would have gone into the woods on a wild ride, with his son in the back seat. The hand of God was on us.

So now I guess building a new front bumper has suddenly jumped from the middle of the mod list, to the very top.:bounce:

Ken is a stand-up guy, and has assured me that we'll get it fixed up. The damage is mostly limited to the bumper. It could have been worse.

Pic 1: The culprit. Undamaged :o

Pic 2: My pride and joy, with a sore face :crybaby:
