OK, I'll tell the two guys I know who broke 100 series CV's this month that it didn't actually happen and it's just their imagination, thanks for clearing that up! Thanks for Trolling, come back soon...

Too bad mud can only ban usernames and not entire DNA signatures.

So who said 33's are weak sauce?

who is that stud helping save your door? Although with 35s, you may not have gotten stuck about 40 yards ahead on that trail. Who knows...

Why? There will just be another one tomorrow. Keep it contained here I say. In fact, if we'd put 35's as a sticky there's hope for the Newbie who's lacking search.

There are 26 posts in this thread with pictures. Not even 75% of those 26 contain pictures of 35's. This is a chat thread with a little bit of "what does it take to run 35's" mixed in. Even the tech portion of that conjured up some interweb fighting.

There are 130 posts of almost nothing. Even the OP is way off topic. We even had some 18" LED bar talk.

I'm ok with a sticky, that at least moves it off the front page and into it's own spot, but.... Trunk and E will have another thread to moderate and delete "non picture" posts...... kinda like the regular 100 Series Picture Thread we already have. I'm partly to blame for this being what it is. I kinda saw the writing on the wall about what this was going to be.

Post #1..... They fit and they're awesome
Post #2...... They don't fit, they rub, you don't even go offroad
Post #3..... Hey, what color paint is that on your wheels?

My vote is if this is a picture thread, treat it like the picture thread we already have. No words, no chat, no tech.... just pictures. And what if they're not true 35's?

I don't know why it was so hard to follow the directive I initially hoped for this thread. It wasn't meant for all the tech questions to be answered (as so graciously pointed out; there are a billion threads to match) and it wasn't meant for all of the other mumbo jumbo.

Just pics. 100 Series Land Cruisers with 35's. that's all. Pics. As in pictures. As in 100 Series Land Cruisers that have 35" tires on them. Pics. But you guys are right, there's a few pages with irrelevant stuff on them. Funny thing; but I got infraction this morning for posting something wrong in the wrong area. So, do infractions happen when people don't post what they're supposed to in threads? It doesn't even matter. Point being I was hoping for posts with pictures. Just pictures. Maybe some with captions. Just pictures.

I should have said it like this:

"TOYOTA LAND CRUISER OWNERS: ATTENTION: IF YOUR 100 SERIES HAS 35" TIRES, POST YOUR PICTURES OF YOUR VEHICLE HERE SO PEOPLE CAN ENJOY. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM TECHNICAL QUESTIONS BECAUSE THERE ARE ALREADY A BILLION PLUS POSTS THAT WILL KINDLY ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS AND ISSUES. THIS THREAD IS FOR PICTURES. LIKE A PHOTO ALBUM. LIKE THE ONE YOUR MOM STILL HAS ON TE COFFEE TABLE."

^^You are just as much to blame for your thread turning into what it has. You didn't follow your own rules/guidelines. Broseph.

You're right....I posted a couple pics and then replied to a couple other comments.

I myself learned the hard way going to 35s. :bang: Tore through some CVs, blew front diff (now running nitro 4.88s), and took a nice hit to my driver side fender with the tire attempting to go full tuck, I am running 18s, 1.5" spacers and tire specs are 325/65/18 Nitto Terra Grapplers (34.88")... but anywho ill play!

Can you actually run them on serious 4WD terrain or do they rub like a bastard and reduce your turning circle...?

Do you need to change your speedo drive gear?

Cheers Josh

If you are setup properly 35's stuff fine; they do not fit on a stock vehicle. Speedo does need correction unless you regear which gets you pretty accurate or you use alternate methods like cellphone/ipad/in dash nav.

I have a diff drop kit and am lifted as far as i can without comprimising the CV's. I have plenty of room thats why i was thinking of fitting them.

I have 33's on at the moment. Looking forward to the bigger boots

35s require a body lift to fit properly without rubbing. An IFS suspension lift doesn't let you fit larger tires because the path that the wheel travels doesn't change.

If you go from 33" to 35" realistically you are only gaining 25.4mm ride height.... i can't really see much of an advantage.... am i missing something??
