Have you ha a chance to drive on the 37s yet? Wonder what your impressions are.
Welp, after 4 years on 35s I've officially left the club. Between numerous trips to the San Juans and Moab, I had officially trashed the old Falken Wildpeak 315s. They were falling apart and they never let me down, but that time was coming. So after a TON of thinking and screwing around on various OEM tire manufacturer websites I decide to go with my gut. I'm now riding on a fresh set of 295 BFG K02s. White letter out and no "dog dish" center cover (for now at least) to complete the "backdated" look I've been working towards. To me, the white letter out BFGs are the most "classic" look for an older wheeler.
So by manufacturer specs I went from a 34.7" tire to a 33.4" tire and subsequently dropped 16 POUNDS PER TIRE! That's a s*** ton of rolling mass to manage.
I've noticed a HUGE difference in acceleration, braking, and ride quality. I'm now down to ~87 pounds per corner (wheel, tire, lugs, no spacers). I'm not sure you can get much lighter than that. With the 4.88 gears and the light corners this rig suddenly feels.....quick:rofl:?

Hows your highway cruising RPM with the new smaller tires?

Might want to check your math on that, from what I’m seeing those 295’s are 62lbs each. So unless you have 5lb wheels…

Wheel/tire weight makes a massive difference. My 35’s (wheel/tire/spacer) are ≈ 83lbs which is very light for 35’s.

Yup! My math is s***! 87 pounds. FFS.... 62Lb tire, 24Lb wheel, 1 Lb lugs

I'm sitting at 91 lbs per corner with my method MR305NV and Toyo 35x11.5R17LT C #355920 I guess that's pretty good!

And before anyone thinks differently, these load Cs are still 3 ply with a reinforced sidewall due to the float size construction. Have held up very well on trails and deform a lot more than my previous 285/70/17 BFG load Cs.

You're doing pretty good. My 35x12.5 E-load were a chunky 107lbs a corner 😅

Do you mean spacers?
I recently installed Bora 3/4" spacers, I was pretty shocked when I weighed them in at 1.1kg/ over 2lbs each!

No, I was referring to the 5 lug nuts. I was able to discard my spacers when I switched from the Lexus OEM wheels to my current alloy "steelies". I was shocked how much those spacers weighed when I took them off . I believe they were Spidertrax if I recall correctly.

I'm at 100# on the nose with 34.8 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss (E rated) on Icons.

My BFGs are Load E1.

Tucking 35x11.50’s at camp (AHC low). Effective offset is +31, IMO this offset will be perfect for a 12.50 tire.

What do you guys run the tire pressure at for on-road driving? I have 295/70R18 Toyo RT Trail, not quite a 35" tire but 34.3" tire. I'm running 35psi and was wondering if there was a RCTIP guide for 100 series, like this 200 series thread.

I've settled at 37psi for Toyo AT3w load range C 35x11.5x17.
