So, heres the story... 2001 LX470 Was used at a beach house in Key West... at one point was painted YELLOW (I know) but was done right...

Recently, it was brought to Tampa Bay area, and sprayed flat black.

Its spent most of its life just sitting...

heres the thing... no accidents, never "off-road" and only 43k miles... yes... 43,000 miles.

I know the owner and the history, I know it has never been abused. Worst thing to happen was it was caught in a rain storm with windows down once years ago.

Everything works, but some rust on rotors from sitting... will need a battery...

what does everyone think...

I can scoop this up for like $4,000.

Think its worth it?

Anything specific I should look for with a 100 sitting for awhile... bodies lift system, and the usual...

That's cheap no matter the truck. cRust doesn't look too bad. I'd poke around on the body since it was on the island for so long.

You should check out the underside/chassis very closely, as the sea air in Key West can do a real number on unprotected metal, especially over a long period of time. Although, the one pic you posted shows some rust, but not bad considering it's been in the salt air.
