Service Shop in Los Angeles region?

So after doing the timing belt/pulleys/front axle rebuild/etc/etc myself, next up is the steering rack (oil drips, steering is questionable and I've got about 223k on the current rack).

Turns out, I'm not too interested in doing that job myself (lifting the engine sounds... terrible).

Does anyone have a recommendation on a reputable shop in LA for replacing the rack in a 100 series?

The thought of having a shop touch my truck is nerv wracking and I know they can't all be terrible (I come from the land of motorcycles where a lot of shops are garbage out here).

Any recommendations on shops for a rack replacement?

RPM off-road in Monrovia. its just 15 miles from LA. I'd say 80% or more of the work they do is Toyota Trucks. I would consider them experts for our trucks. There is always, land cruisers, Tacoma's and 4runners there (New and Old). The owner Steve is a great guy to deal with. I live in Long Beach and occasionally make the 30-40 minute drive out there for the work I don't feel like doing on my own truck.

Yep RPM for sure. Great group of guys and work on Land Cruisers and 4Runners all day.

Also add yotamasters to your list. Out here in Corona but they can tear down and rebuild your 100 with a blindfold on.

Lifting the engine was no issue at all, two bolts, no drama... after all the work you did, replacing the rack is easy.
