Hey all, headed to Flag in a week and figured I’d check out Sedona since I’ve never been. Granted I’ll be in my hundo 100 it’s only right to check out some trails. I understand the connotation the area often gets with pink jeeps and people on foot however it’s something I’d like to do at least once. What’s everyone favorite? Don’t care if it’s a black or a blue. Appreciate the input all!

We were just down in Sedona last weekend, and there's still a mob of folks there Friday and Saturday, but (as mentioned) the weekdays are considerably less crowded.

I took some out of town guests to broken arrow a couple weeks ago on a Friday. Several pink jeeps but not much else. The drive down from flagstaff through oak creek canyon is paved but beautiful this time of year and would make a nice precursor to broken arrow.

Flag down I17 to Schnebly Hill - best views are driving down the hill into Sedona. Then take Broken Arrow, return to Flag up 89A through the canyon.

Agree with @Stepmurr ‘s recommendation. Try for a weekday if possible… and sunsets from Schnebly Hill are gorgeous, if you need to break up the trails. Schnebly is not really low range stuff, but high clearance, and lower pressures for sure. Broken Arrow is gorgeous! It is many people’s first introduction to “wheeling,” but don’t let the commercial presence on the trail deter you… it is worth it.

That's a good point - if you can overnight then camp up at the top of Schnebly's Hill and drive into Sedona in the morning to hit up Broken Arrow.
