Cut the grip off an old air hammer and shortened the shroud then drilled and taped it for an air fitting.

I need to build one of those that’s adjustable in three planes. Maybe interchangeable jaw pieces🤔
Cant wait to see what you come up with!!!

Let me know how you make 58-D22 and 58-D24

No idea what is going on here, but I think I will learn something!

No Bob, you won’t have to worry about people tearing your sheetmetal from their Cruisers because you weren’t PC enough. I’m predicting that kind of something isn’t gonna spill over around here. Most people working on FJ55’s have or had some kind of real job.

There's good people up in here, eh?

Hey Jim, here’s an idea for a scrap steel shenanigan that could possibly thrust you into Land Cruiser hero status....

Build a buck (think that’s what you call it) the shape of a 55 rear fender lip that you can cinch a piece of sheetmetal to and hammer/planish out fender lip patches!😃👍

Ah yiss!!!

What happened to Shenanigans #1??
Mostly done and yes I have smashed some metal but I've been too lazy to go take pictures. I'll try harder moving forward to get photos and get them posted here for you.

Please accept this photo as a substitute for whats going on out in the shop currently.

Shop time with kiddo, hope it falls in this thread...ain’t metal though.

She is 4th year scout, so last year of these builds I’ve been enjoying with them for 10yrs now.

Semi truck kit this year, comes with plastic wheels and some wood, rest is her design.
I run the scary tablesaw, she takes over from there with some advice and help when stuck.

I thought the white was going to be bland but she had it figured out.

Today was race day, she cleaned up with 2nd fastest in her age group, best appearing in her group and best in show. So that’s her and her big brother on the log twice each.
