Was in a local Lowes today and saw this display of 20L Scepter water cans.

am I remembering correctly that there is a difference in the plastic or plastic thickness between the water and the gas cans?

Not sure where you're shopping, but these 20L water cans are $40CAD (vs $43USD on sale) at DS Tactical in New Westminster.

Couple of local Lowes here only have the light duty blue cans, $23. I passed. Probably a regional ordering thing for the box stores.
$45 on Amazon for the ones Godwin shows.

Or you can get American-made ones for $30 each. I think it's buy 3 and you get free shipping. These are the same military spec as Scepter

síCan these containers be used to carry drinking water to places where it is not available? Don insurance to carry the water on the roof? I say for the UV.
