These trailers were specifically built to get dragged through the Australian Outback. It will probably go places I would not want to take it.
I plan to come in from Lake City over one of the more mellow passes. My trailer is untested and my family will be easing in.

Cinnamon Pass to Animas Forks would be my recommendation.

3 years later hooked up the oba and lockers and fixed the ac in one 45, pulled this arb out of a shell sitting in the garage to toss in the other 45. But I think we managed to get all the kc crew dialed in except our own junk!

Just swapped that for you glen! And thanks to kansasland tire for the kendas on this one. Wish the 33s that were just dropped at the shop were staying at the shop and not being transported to sas. I hear a set of 37's are getting dropped off soon!

That’s the way we went in last year and I was considering it again. I think Bryan @OlYellr may take an alternative route near.

We’ll see. With the fam tagging along this year I’m leaving all options on the table.

I have searched this thread and read over my notes and talked to KOA.

At this point I do not have anyone on a waiting list for a camping cabin… there is one about to open up, would anyone like to move to a camping cabin or anyone waiting for one?

If so, please let me know through private message and I’ll get you set up with KOA.

The thing that I found was super cool is that the layers of the plywood created Topo lines
@sogncab are those line actually to scale on your maps ?

Not too any scale that makes sense.

Its just the thickness of the ply creating the lines.
@sogncab Saw this on the news . Guy was doing maps like you and putting them into tables . Looked super cool. Heres a link to his web site he has some cool stuff Custom Topography - https://rivrhouse.co/collections/art/products/custom-topography

That is pretty cool!

Still a long ways out from August 4th and this is no where near Ouray but just a reminder to always have a primary travel route and a secondary. Nature doesn't care about our plans.

Thought more on the post and i'll just add it.... I'd say a majority of folks use a lot of different apps. The most user friendly fire app out there right now is this one Watch Duty - Wildfire Maps & Alerts - https://app.watchduty.org/ stay safe all.

I use the Watch Duty app every day and it is an excellent tool.

Where did you get the map that you attached? Is that from the app?
