Hey REGISTERED SAS9ers!

This is a friendly reminder that KOA is only going to hold SAS dates till 3/31/2025 for those registered for SAS9.

If you do not have your KOA camp spot reserved and want one and are registered for SAS9, please reach out ASAP. Do this before they release the dates to the public on 4/1/2025.

************************************************
If you are one who wants a certain spot/cabin and it is not available, please make sure KOA has you on their waitlist. Though asking on here is okay as well, but there is a wait for REGISTERED SAS9ers through KOA.

Always looking forward to this adventure every year!!
Happy Working on Your Rigs!!
Happy Trails &
Safe Shake Down Runs to Ya!

Thanks @Mesa Woman and everyone for all the work that goes into this making it a smooth process for everyone else!

Just dropping by to say I put in my PTO request for work today. That makes SAS9 feel much more real.

If I would like to try and sign up for next year who should I contact?
You watch this thread at the beginning of 2026 and wait for the link to sas10.

Been driving it to work every day now that it's nice out.

"Is that your Jeep-thing out there?"

"Did you take the catalytic converter off it? Is that why it's so much louder than a new car?" (it's a diesel and not exactly quiet...🤣🤣)

"Nice buggy"

Thinking about A/C and insulation/soundproofing a lot lately..

Sweet!

Make it through that wind OK @POTATO LAUNCHER @BombCity and fam? I just saw some videos from I-40 and Canyon. Holy crap!
I27 I believe 20 miles south of Amarillo… scary! I was thinking the same message to Casey but waiting till after 8 his time to message him…! They should be down in Mason, TX at lone star cruiser round up.
The winds have been crazy in the southwest this year! Haboobs and all!

Yikes. Didn’t see that, just the semis flipping over one after the other on I-40.

Question for the Colorado natives . I will be bringing my RV to sas and trailer my LC behind it and will also bring a bike with me to ride the Colorado BDR with some friends after the sas . Does anyone has any recommendations for a place to leave my RV/trailer with the cruiser for about 8 days while I ride the BDR ? I don't mind paying for a secure spot that gives piece of mind . The BDR starts in the 4 corners and ends near Steamboat springs but anywhere near the BDR route or along my way back to TX from SAS would be nice .

Thanks
Not close to BDR, unfortunately, but if you want to leave your rig at my place fo’ free, you’re more than welcome. I live on 40 acres in Moffat (just north of the Sand Dunes).

We had 80F on Friday... and 2" of snow last night.

Didn't stick everywhere and is mostly gone now, but yeah.. had some trees down across the drive coming home Friday night but did remember to throw a chainsaw in the truck before leaving for work 😅
