SAS 2000 sr5 (1 Viewer)

got recommended ih8mud by someone on pirate4x4, which im told is dead, so im posting here.

just picked up an 81 waggoneer d44, with intention of swapping it under my 2000 sr5. this is the most ambitious fab project i will have taken on, so im just trying to get a bit more info and insight.

will be using barnes4wd 3link bracket kit, coilovers, hydro assist. i guess my key questions are; what steering box do most folks use on 4r sas, and how do i find gears for my d44 and toyota rear axle?

let me know what you think, and please tell me if im being a complete dingus before i go chopping off stock brackets
