This transmission has a leak in the front main seal. I had been trying to track down an oil leak for months from my engine and it turns out it was the transmission. Anyway, I ended up swapping to the H55f 5 speed and have this tranny for someone who wants to rehab it. The previous owner gave me receipts that shows that it was rebuilt in 2016 by Dan's Driveline Repair in Las Vegas when the truck had 260k miles. The truck just recently passed over 300k when I did the swap. I had no problems out of the transmission other than the gear oil leak.
Online, rebuilt ones seem to go for around $800, and it looks like rebuild kits cost about $250. Open to negotiation, but $200 seems like a fair price.
