The issue is that the 3f bellhousing doesnt have the bolt hole for the slave cilinder braket that comes in the early model.

Is the slave bracket an item you can fab to bolt to the bell housing using the engine bolts?

Edit .... Or is that what is now on its way?

The slave cilinder is bolted to the bell housing. It changed in late 85 to a two bolts configuration. I got already all the parts and finish it about four weeks ago.

Dominoes effect, there was a small antifreeze leak. Well not soo much. Pump, hoses, and radiator. I have change water pumps in the pass but this is ridiculous

It is almost all put together. I am just waiting for the a/c's compressor belt. Everything else was in stock (my garage). Is it nice to open boxes and find all that you need to fix the truck, new and factory. I've been collecting parts for the 3fe rebuild
Stop tearing this truck apart and put it back together. I'm expecting to see it at the Relic Run.

Welllllll. I had my test drive today. And the new Champion radiator has a leak. Jegs is sending a new one but i dont know if i can trust this thing. Any thoughts??

I got mine that i can have it fixed. I just didnt want to have the radiator burst on me and wanted to avoid to do it twice. But it looks like i will be doing it twice. :bang::bang::bang::bang:

Rafael does not play. When he gets on it, he gets it done!
Apparently not. ;)

@Roxx , sorry to see it didn't go as hoped but I think there is still hope for you bringing it to the Relic Run. I'd be happy to lend a hand if you think it would help speed things along.

Where is the rad leaking from? Bottom tank? Top hose port? Could you have over tightened the mounting bracket? I'm curious because I had considered going with the Champion as well. I had my OE rad repaired but it still has a tiny leak.

Thanks. I let you know. I think ot willgo quick if the radiator gets here saturday.

It actually comes from were the core meets the tank. There is no way to over tighten it all the bolts are isolated with rubber i hope is just a bad one. I have not take it off will let u know if i find anything. It only leaks when it is hot

I haven’t done nothing to this truck other that drive it. It is a joy to have it and drive it. This is a teaser for its next phase.
