Me too.

I recently replaced the plugs and wires. When i accelerate it does seem to go away. When stopped at a light (in drive) it idles and i get a very momentary drop in rpm which then returns to normal for a few seconds and then the cycle repeats. There is no way that i messed up the timing right? could it be something big wrong with the engine, misfiring?

I replaced my plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor last weekend and also have the Check Engine Light coming on.
I am guessing I forgot to reconnect a vacuum hose. I will check this weekend.
BTW, I used an NGK Resistor Spark Plug Wire Set & plugs.
I also installed a new battery.
When I had the old battery out I removed the battery box and cleaned everything up under it. Sure hope I did not loosen something in there. :)

Exactly the symptoms I had before my head gasket went. How is the coolant level? Other than that, I did technically have an injector that was flooding the #1 cylinder in my case at idle. You can pull the plugs to see if 1 looks different than the rest.

Sorry, it's been a busy week. It isn't dying just running rough now. I think the inlet may be part of the problem. I plan on cleaning the throttle body next. Will brake cleaner work or will that be too aggressive/ not aggressive enough? After that I plan I. Changing the vacuum hoses ( I checked but didn't see any cracks). After that should I start looking at the heads? I wish I was a better engine mechanic :(

coolant level is fine so far

Cleaned the TB today. The issue is 90% better. I did see some dry rotted hoses (not cracked yet but getting there) that I will be replacing. I think that should solve this issue.
