Not quite done yet - getting there...

Awesome, if you don’t mind let me know how many hours it take to weld it up!

Do the instructions say where to tack weld and where to run beads?
Or is it all up to one's own welding skills?

So, full disclosure, I am NOT the one welding this bumper, someone else is. After reading all the instructions thoroughly though, how you make your welds is up to you. His instructions tell you how it all fits together, but not how to weld.
When everything is done, I will have a long discussion with the welder and report back to everyone.

Bumper should be together and done Saturday. Now.......how to coat it? Thoughts or personal experience?
Debating between a powder coat or Bulletliner through a company here in Denver (like a Bedliner)

I've always just power coated. Tons of colors and even textures and if done correctly/competently should last many years as long as you stay on top of nicks and scratches.

I've done both and I'll never bed line anything other than beds ever again. PC gets my vote.

The colors look really good! You should either clear coat the bumper or gun metal gray to match the wheels.

Bedliner on the bumper - still not sure of that look, but it is done now. Maybe I will match more things to the liner in the future...
Being the perfectionist that I am, there are still some issues with gaps and fitment, etc. I know that these bumpers are meant to have some gaps to make up for flex, but they are inconsistent gaps that could’ve been helped with the building process a little bit. Getting some weatherstripping to fill in the gaps helped immensely!
Parking sensors reinstalled and working, so very happy about that!

The gaps on my bumpers increased after banging them a few times on rocks and I have some trail striping. I don't mind all that too much, but what I won't tolerate is any body damage. That gets fixed right away. So far, haven't had any body carnage 🤞, just the above mentioned bumper bangs and trail scratches.
Please don't keep this as a trail princess. Use it like you stole it!!

it won’t be a princess - it will get dirty! However, when the trail seems angrier and wants to inflict damage more, this may be my choice for the day:

A lot less tears will be shed with any body carnage!
