My guess is loose wire.

I hope you are right! They are sending me a replacement and told me just to junk this one.

I received one that didn't work on AC, but did on DC. I sent it to edgestar I think and never saw it again.

@crissoni It ran for 48 hours just fine on A/C. Never got to try it on D/C. All the fans run and control pad look just fine. It did not get bumped, just sitting in the garage undisturbed and it quite cooling. Maybe I will throw it in the truck and try 12 DC, perhaps the transformer module went bad
Check all the connections as some may have been known to be loose.

Do yall's compressors rattle when you hit bumps? The inside of mine does and it's driving me nuts.

I haven't noticed but I also drive with the windows down most of the time since I need to get my AC recharged.

Where does he reside, phil? I'd hate to junk it. It really only has 5 critical parts/modules

Phoenix AZ

The only part that is not serviceable is the coil where it is sandwiched in foam around the cooler box.

That is pretty close to me here in Tucson. Do you think he would help me out? How could I contact him?

Good to hear, they've taken pretty good care of the customers thus far.

Any appliance/refrigerator tech can fix them. It's a common platform.

Mine certainly does. I pulled it apart and tried to stabilize anything loose, but it made no difference. meh, it still works, and open window driving season is nearly upon us. I will likely forget about it again until the fall.

It's the internals of the black round ball looking thing.

I have the Edgstar 63, I have CO2 in my truck, I home brew.
The real question is will this fit inside with room for the fittings;
