Sounds crazy, but I like the factory mud flaps, are there any rock sliders that protect the body panels while retaining the front mud flaps? 91 FJ80.

White Knuckle Offroad has a slider option that'll work with mud flaps.
Our '93 has the no-mud-flaps version and I like them.

If rocks are contacting the sliders, the mud flap will get torn off quickly. Even flare end caps, used as trim after taking the mud flaps off, will take damage fast, and they’re tucked up above the slider. As me how I know. I’m on my second set.

One option is to remove the mud flaps before going wheeling in the rocks. Then you’d have the best of both worlds. Sliders for the trail and mud flaps around town.

I built sliders that accommodate my mud flaps. The mud flaps combined with sliders really protect the paint from road debris. I remove the mud flaps if I go wheeling real quick. Works really well on a daily driver and would do it again.
Good idea, they come off is pretty easy.

Thank you very much, I like these. Will be ordering soon!
