I don't see Roadwire mentioned too much around here so decided to post a separate thread. For those that don't know about Roadwire, they've been around for decades and sell leather for hundreds of makes/model. If you've ever seen leather sold as an add-on at a car dealership, it might have been Roadwire. We purchased leather add-on for our 2014 4Runner through the dealer and were very happy with the results.

The base kit for the 80 is $1699 with installation included. Two-tone is an extra $100, contrast stitching extra $100. Given that it includes labor, the price is super reasonable I feel and the quality is great. Here's the different kits they sell for the 80 series: Buy Leather or Vinyl Seats for 1993 1994 1995 1996 1997 1998 1999 2000 2001 2002 2003 2004 Toyota Landcruiser Interiors | Roadwire - https://www.roadwire.com/s.nl/sc.8/category.542833/.f

You buy the kit online and it gets shipped to you directly. Then they tell you where to go for installation, they have a big network of dealers/installers throughout the country. You can also go directly to a dealer/restyler and order from them.

I bought their swatch sample kit so I could take my time choosing colors and could see it under different light. $20 + shipping: Master Swatch Ring with All Leather Colors | Roadwire - https://www.roadwire.com/s.nl/it.A/id.330911/.f After much back n forth, I went with single tone in '113 Brown' and contrast orange stitching. This brown color is about as close you can get to the OEM darker oak color, although it does have a bit more orange in it vs the muted factory Oak.

What I really like about the kit is that it includes armrests, center console, and door panels for the $1699 price. Can't get much better than that!

My local dealer/installer in the Sacramento, CA area was Bullet Audio Sunroofs & Leather. Dropped off the seats and parts and had them back in about 2 days. Roadwire sent us the incorrect pattern for the armrests hence why those are missing in the pics. Should have them back in a few days. First impressions, the quality of the leather is fantastic and all pieces are very accurate. Looks as OEM as possible for being aftermarket. I do have 2 minor complaints with the kit:

- The carpet portion that goes under the 2nd row seats looks & feels a bit cheap. But since you'll only see this when the seats are folded up, I can live with that.

- Their kit does NOT include the lower flap portion on the front seats. This is a problem for me because if you completely change the color of the interior, you're stuck with that piece in OEM color which can be unsightly. I've emailed Roadwire letting them know I'm not too happy about this and they agreed to make these pieces for me. They sent me a shipping label to mail in these flaps so they can create the pattern in dark brown leather. Hopefully they include this in their kit going forward, but just be warned it may not be included.

I did get new OEM foam for the front seats. Makes a big difference!

I had just applied leather conditioner which is why they look so greasy/shiny

Is the seat back foam new also?

So what did foam, install, etc set you back? All in?
New OEM foam was about $625. Leather was $1799 installed. Sales tax and shipping not included.

Then new seat back pockets and all that jazz. So like $3k? That's really not bad for everything

Oh forgot about the pockets. Those were $120. So about $2544 for everything.

Very nice!! I like it 😎

On the front seats, all foam is new. For the rear I reused original foam.
Hmmm, I tried getting seat back foam, for cloth seats, but was told not available.

I wonder if leather seat foam is different than cloth seat foam?

Yeah those are different part numbers. For the leather seats, all front foam is still available. For the rear, only the seat back or lower pad was available, can't remember which.

Very nice. Any pics before leather was conditioned?

Look really nice. Congrats,
