TRD Off Roads have Bilstein Shocks, and Lockers

TRD Pro's have Fox Shocks, Skid Plate, Cat Back Exhaust, and TRD Wheels

Im going to go for a happy medium between both trim levels.

My Ideal List Consists of:

Bilstein's- because I can just set them and forget them and they come with a lifetime warranty. Fox's have to be rebuilt, after x amount of miles and thats not something I want to have to worry about later down the line.

ARB Lockers/ or if I can source stock front and rear axles and just do a conversion- Although the TRD Off-Roads have Electronic Lockers ARB's seem to be a good route to go aftermarket wise. (Wont be doing this modification anytime soon, I need to do a lot of other supporting mods before I decide to bite this bullet.

Skid Plates- I may have to design my own that have a "TRD" logo embossed in them.

TRD Exhaust Tip- I do like the idea of having a quiet vehicle for once, my other 3 toys are a bit on the noisy side.

TRD Pro Wheels- Its not a uncommon modification for the 80's series it seems like, apparently all you need are 1.5" spacers to get them to sit properly and be able to use the TRD center caps.

As for forced induction, I dont think im going to go that route. The Magnuson supercharger/TRD Supercharger seems to be one of the really hard to get items at the moment.

First month mods:

Well after a month of ownership I was able to cross off some components off my TRD Spec list, and take care of some important maintenance/repairs

fixed/replaced the
driver rear, and hatch lock solenoid
antenna mast
radiator and 3 hoses
All 4 Tie Rod Ends
brake pads
brake rotors
and bled out all the dark brake fluid from the system

as for TRD Spec
TRD Pro Wheels, wrapped in BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A KO LT265/70R17
Bilstein B6 4600 Monotube Shocks

and accessories threw on
Front Bull Bar and Tail Light Guards
OEM Toyota Receiver
Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX Head Unit
Yakima Rain Gutters
Yakima 58” Crossbars
Yakima Powderhounds
Yakima BasketCase
Yakima HoldUp Bike Rack

I am not sure the Land Cruiser ever came in a TRD package.... btw that is not a bull bar.

Hahaha,

Yes Im aware its also called a Damage Multiplier, because if your Landcruiser gets hit, it will bend the frame rails and also hit whatever else is nearby it.

It was given to me, Im going to run it temporarily until I can figure out who makes this one, and save up for it

I really how this one looks. I have a feeling its by some Russian company.

Correct. It has been well documented and the name aptly applied. Same thing for the tail light 'protectors'.

Can confirm, I have 2 small dents from the PO.

One on the quarter panel and one at the opposite side front fender 😐...

They've been bothering me since I took possession, it may go to the body shop in the near future. 😅

Making up trim levels, I see! Is there a TRD-spec paint job?

:flipoff2:

Just messin with ya. Nice truck, ditch the damage multiplier ASAP.
