I would run that, the powered one looks near perfect.
 
FWIW, on GM rear ends I have done, when I took the 3rd member apart I saved the old pinion bearing and race. I either sanded or ground the race /bearing to make it a "slip fit" and used them to set shims for pinion depth. No force needed to take it apart before final assembly.
