Pretty cool lit there Mike!

Cool - was not aware Con-ferr sold new turnkey V8 conversions.

iirc, they were the first to do it...sometime around 67. they used to make them for a dealer in ca somewhere. pete condos (guy who started conferr) used to race v8'd cruisers.

mike, have you found any info on their rear bumpers (like the one on my 45)?

Damn I got jipped. the PO installed a con-ferr diving board bumper and no paxton super charger... WTF. At least I got a ramsey winch too :)

Very cool stuff. Thanks for posting it up. You know what kinda goes along with this stuff... the offenhauser intakes from back in the day. The dual single barrel carb intake was pretty trick. I'm sure someone has scanned advertisements to post.

HEY quit making fun of my bumper. :D

Pete Condos gave me a tour of the factory back when I first got my cruiser in '85. Back in the corner of one room, he pulled out and gifted to me one of his most obscure products. it is a TP bed extender.

It bolts into place of the dropgate hinges and hooks, providing a 16" bed extension and mounting tabs to reattach the dropgate to the extender.

The rollcage in my FJ40 is also an original ConFerr from the early 70s, with an extra rear hoop installed by ORU about 10 years ago.

I have on the shelf at the shop a couple of sets of ConFerr steel map pockets that were designed to mount on the inside of the cruiser doors. Way cool.

And, one of my prized possessions: a couple of the metal badges that ConFerr used to attach to their custom Cruisers when they were done. NOS!

I've still got a couple of underhood toolboxes stashed away somewheres too!

And then there's the hoard of rear seats.:grinpimp:

I have a Conferr center console new in the box if someone is interested. It is the one that screws to the center console of a 78 or so 40. Comes with lock and key.

There is a pic of them in another thread on the forum somewhere.
Yes, I still have them . I would consider parting with one to someone who is buying a bunch of other stuff from me.😉

Do you have a list of parts you might be able to email me at cruiserbret@hotmail.com. Then I can review and see, sir.
