I can't get this link to work?

AATLAS1X aka Shane I think was working on one? PM him

I haven't had any luck getting through to him recently.:meh:

Don't think anything with a ten digit part number would be correct for a FJ25 or very early FJ40. I have a generator from a very early 1963 FJ40 with a 1962 production date and pretty sure the part number started with FJ40. The FJ25 generator tag probably started with FJ25. My parts book for the FJ25s is the 1963 version with the ten digits parts number not sure if it also had the old part numbers too. If not I think Jim still has a copy of his old parts book. I don't have time this weekend leaving town as soon as I get home from work but next week I can post a picture of what the early FJ40 generator tag looks like. None of my FJ25s had the stock generator when I bought them:frown:

Shane the answer would be yes. Meaning both paper and plastic. In this case both foil and metal. The foil tags are not to good of shape but the metal one I have is pretty clean. I didn't think they was any interest in pictures so I never took any but I did check the tags out. I will take some pictures tonight and post.

Having a problem getting a good quality picture of the tags. Here the only one I could that was useable at all before the batteries in the camera died. I did notice that my FJ25 parts book showed the metal tags on the pictures of the engine. So I "guessing" the steel tags are older. I try again and post some better ones if I can get them.

Can't get a good pic of it...the tag is black with no mention of FJ40 or even 25, just a part number...

Kinda looks like "R\80-27000 12V TOBJ-27000" with some hand stamped numbers the next line down...

Sounds like a good idea John. At least once the pictures are done, they are ready for anyone to take up the challenge

has anybody tried to hit up MOT with part #'rs ... i dont know about the ones that are fj40...but...many fa80's were produced...and they were the heavy haulers in Japan...they may have old stock?

I hit him up with the very early 40 generator part number, it was a no-go.

I do not have the FJ25 generator part number.

I was also wondering if the FQ15's had interchangeable generators/regulators? There has to be quite a few of those still around?

What about those FA turn signal assemblies too? :hhmm:

the duel sided tin cans ...ohhh yes...hit him up for those :)

They would be for a 1960's FA80 or even DA80

I would think there was some for the DA's and the FA's still around

"FA80 27000B" is the old part number in my FJ25 parts book and 27000-60060 is the new part number. This is the parts book from July 63. It has the old part numbers listed in the back of the book. Might also try the numbers Phil listed.
