Any tips on removing the after-market wood trim. Peeling the trim off is obvious but the glue removal is not so obvious. I all ready tried goo off and that f^*%ed stuff up. So I stopped at the first trim removal. Any Ideas?

patience, warm temps? I thought that wood crap was factory? I still have one or two pieces on mine. When they start to fall off I'll pull them off....I think any chemistry that you apply that is effective on the adhesive will potentially damage the plastic underneath....just a thought...

Turn on truck, turn on heat on high, close all windows, leave truck running for 20 min., peel off all wood trim. Search.
I've only driven through once but I gotta believe even if your truck is white Sacremento has got to get hot enough to let the truck hgeat up without running the engine....
I got the goo off of mine with some citrus cleaner and a plastic scrubby sponge from the kitchen. It is a lot of patience and not so much elbow grease. After scrubbing on the plastic for a while the adhesive will start to pill up and get caught in the grooves of the sponge. It ruins the sponge, but it left the grain of the plastic looking almost new.
