Can anyone give me any pointers on removing this bearing from my carrier. Struggling to get these E-10 screws to come off without stripping. Was wondering if heating them up would be a good practice. I cannot get a clamshell around the bearing with them intact. Thanks. Scott

I posted on your Facebook post. 3 jaw pulled or cut the bearing off. I’m pretty sure those bolts are not to be messed with.

Look at them.
Someone else has already been there.
If not yourself, recommend finding a replacement candidate.
If it was you, still recommend a replacement candidate.

I recommend a heat gun applied around the base (the iron ring they are threaded into) to degrade the locktite. Alternatively a high output soldering iron applied to the heads of each bolt.
Lucky for you they come pre- serrated for easy vice grip torquing. 😉

Whether you're going to change the bolts or not, you can take a dremel and cut the bearing cage off, then cut a slot in the the bearing race, give it a whack in the slot with a cold chisel to crack it and it will come right off.
