trollhole are you going to be at gulches this weekend? if you are i can bring that trans and let you id it as to whether or not it will work

trying to talk the wife into letting me pour a small cement pad in the back yard so i can have somewhere to work on the damn thing... My driveway is not even level...

Gabe, if you're replacing the clutch, alot of them come with an alignment tool, now. I save all mine, so I have a few in my toolbox.
I'm a little far away for borrowing, though.

I think steve springs has one i can use.

OG gangstas don't use no stinking alignment tool

will take more than one bullet out of a 9mm to bring down a beast like the dent.

not the beast i was referring tooo.

so i am thinking of taking a couple of 2x8's i found here at the plant. Run them across the fenders and run a chain around the engine instead of putting jackstands under motor which would be in the way. Any thoughts??

Couldn't hurt the fenders any:confused:
Doesn't anyone around have a cherry picker you can use?

i have replecement fenders. Looks like i am going to keep them instead of selling them so no worries there.

ok so i am starting to get a little closer on tackling this thing. So, as of this moment i do not plan on replacing my clutch. It shifted fine before i effed with it. I want to replace the rear main seal and floorpan seal on the old 2f. So other than the seals what do i need to plan on getting? Other than trouble of course.

I've got your throw out bearing and pilot bearing Gabe

yeah i will get with you on that

I would still replace the clutch, unless you pull it and it looks new.
