I got that new big azz jack for christmas remember...

troll do you know if a 78 fj40 h42 will go in his 60?

my laptop died and did not work last night. That is what happens when u do not pay attention to bolt placement. Was putting front half of tcase on and used wrong bolt in wrong hole and shattered back of tranny.

hmmm i can get a h42 from cruiserparts.net for $250 with free shipping if jimbos does not work out.

were you using an impact gun??? I still can't see how you could do that much damage without there already being weakness in the housing there.... crazy stuff dude:eek:

And if Jimbos doesn't work out I will sell you one of mine for under what cruiserparts wants. I also have one I got from Steve that the internals are shot. If you want to go through the hassle of swapping that out you can have the case. I just need a couple of the upper gears that didn't get submerged.

if jimbos does not work out i will call u. I intend on buying another tranny and bolting my case to it....

so how much more pain/aggrevation will it be to pull bellhousing and flywheel so i can replace my rear main seal and seal for oilpan while i am in there? Does anyone have a clutch alignment tool? Gonna be a while before i am ready but might as well fix everything i can while i am in there.

I have a clutch alignment tool you can borrow. Pulling the flywheel and bell housing is only a few additional bolts each. You might as well replace the rear main and oil pan gasket while you are in there if they are leaking.

it leaks somewhere. Might as well do it all at once.

does anyone need the internals off my transmission before i pull and scrap it?
