Redid my tint and found a very close match...

Ok so I got the job done...good news and bad news though. The good news is that the film matches the rear windows as good as it can physically get. The bad news is that they wouldn't sell me the rest of the roll, sorry. I'll post pics when I get home.

Hey PIPO, which shop did your tint? I grew up in Puyallup and still travel back often to take my daughter to visit grandparents and great-grandparents. Also, if you are willing, would PM me what they charged you?

Auto FX in Tacoma. I paid $175 + tax for the front windows.

Bama, they installed viper ceramic 30%.

Those pics were taken in broad daylight (sun goes down at 9pm here)...a few clouds here and there though, but I'll take some more with less clouds.

I think the white balance was wrong, that's what he's noticing.

Much better!

That match is perfect!

That is the 30%?

Did you add anything on the front or rear?

Here is Viper ceramic 30 on my 99 100. Just got her done today.

BUMP!

Wanted to make sure there isn't a latest and greatest out there. Did some research, looks like folks were using a Llumar product, but the Viper Ceramic 30% looks to be a bit better match, although still not perfect.

Is the Viper ceramic 30% the way to go for the fronts? Looking to do fronts only, keep rears OEM and hopefully have it match as close as possible. '99 with the OEM bronze reflective glass.

Thanks!

BUMP again for contact info of a shop that carries the viper film and is willing to cut and sell it to me. I've called about 10 dealers that are listed on Viper's website and have struck out so far.

Thanks!

i have also had many fails, would love to buy some or get a dealer who would cut some for me. im looking for that 30% match.

Does anyone know what Llumar product is close? I talked to my tint buddy and he didn't seem optimistic about getting any of the Viper product, but he can get llumar.
