Found my unicorn, an original owner LX470.
For a decade there's been a really nice 2003 LX470 parked at my dentist's office. The guy who owns it leases a floor upstairs in the building. And two weeks ago, when I asked him if he was interested in selling, he said yes. He never listed the car.
Original owner, Vapor Blue LX with 165K miles. 20 years of receipts at the Lexus dealership. Georgia car its whole life, always garaged, rust free. Unmodded, never been off road.
I realize this does not reach the "unicorn level" of some of these Bring-a-Trailer 100 series Cruisers and LXs with 50K miles, but I also didn't pay $40K+ for it. I've owned a 2001 LX for six years and while I've been very happy with it, it's a formerly northern car with some rust and a bit more wear around the edges.
Although I rarely post here, thanks to this community for all the tips and info that made me confident doing a "parking lot PPI" on this truck.
