Just curious, how many of you who wheel still have your rear seats in?

Planning on taking mine out for Moab and I was curious.

I "normally" have mine in when using the rig for DD'ing.

Any wheeling/camping trip gets middle and third row seats removed. I need the space. Still haven't reinstalled them from spring break.

Below-completely full from behind front seats to the back up to the top of the front seats. Truck has never ridden better than it did with that extra 1000lbs or so in it.

Do you mean 3rd row or the middle seats? I only keep my middle seats in but they too are coming out for my trip to Moab. Makes a great place to sleep with them out.

Of course my front ones are in too.

Rear seats as in 3rd row? If so, mine have been out for quite a while now. In fact, I'm planning on selling them. I've already sold the 3rd row seat belts to a new forum member.

2nd row seats...I remove depending on the trip. Most times I just roll them forward.

My third row has been in the closet for about 5 years. I also removed the outer belts and the floor strikers. I keep them "on the bench" because at some point I may need to haul more people around and the cost of new ones would blow your mind to the moon. I would be able to re-fit them in about two hours, including removing my drawers and PowerTank mount.
My second row is in use at all times because of my sons.

Thanks,
By Rear, I mean 3rd Row.

I doubt I would take the middle row out, but I will take out the "3rd" row.

Of course, after I pack my Rear bearings on Sat and install an ARB front bumper Hopefully on Sunday.

The third row seats come out in about 1 minute per side. They are designed to be pulled out. There is a decal on the LH quarter trim to guide you. Removal does leave behind the outer belts and the outer pivot brackets that are bolted to the wheelhouses.

Thanks Dan, see you next month!

Took em out and sold em to some wawaw. Don't miss the fawkin things at all. They just eat up space

Just wait till the little guy wants to have a laser tag party with 5 of his little buddies. I use the stupid things about twice a year but they do come in handy once in awhile.

M - you figure out your adobe thing yet?

For big trips, I've pulled the center row and left the third row folded up. This way, you get easily enough flat space to fully stretch out and sleep, and tons of storage room with ample tie downs. But if during the trip, someone's driver has to go back to camp to change his shorts, a passenger or 3 can come over and ride in your jump seat. Provided they bring the cooler from the defecting vehicle, of course.

Seriously, this works out well.

Took my 3rd row out. Myself thank you very much. Oh and the 2nd row will come out for wheelin trips as well.

Queensland: 3rd row right side is out. I'd take the left hand side out but the little one likes to jumpseat it. 2nd row is in because the car seat, where he rides on the highway, is mounted there.

California: all seats in (no place to store the 3rd seats).

That's a neat idea Doug. I never thought of that. I could have used it back in my BJ60 days when I used to take people into remote lakes fishing for the day.

I'll put it in the vault.
