I removed my rear seats a while back and I’m removing the lower brackets this weekend. About the seat belts, if I don’t want to bother with removing trim and unbolting the retracting module, can I just cut the belt and allow it to retract inside the mechanism? I don’t want to do anything that creates a rattle or any other noise.

Thanks
Robert

Pull the trim, it's easy. No possibility of rattling if there's nothing left in there!
