Rear emblem (1 Viewer)

Has anyone removed or replaced the rear Lexus logo emblem on their 460? Is it only double sides tape or does it have the alignment tabs as well or does it have screws that you must access from the inside panel in order to remove it?

I believe it may be pushed in with pins, much like interior panels. Even the best adhesive will only have a few years of all weather use. So it should pop off with a plastic panel tool. But I'm not 100%.
For a fact, either way, there will be guide holes for mounting it. Meaning, regardless there will be holes if you plan on removing it. They would not trust some assembly tech to just eye-ball the placement of their logo.

Thanks for the reply. I figured it would have the alignment pins on the back, I just wanted to make sure of how it was mounted before I go prying it off. I have the newer gel coated 2020+ rear emblem on the way to replace it so that it matches the front.

Yup that's the one, same as the one on the 2020 GX460 and every other SUV/CUV the sell haha.

So...will it work with all 2010-2019 460’s then?

I’m contemplating debadging completely or replacing the L with this if it works. I ordered my F-sport grille a few days ago for the front.

Yea they work, I have the 2020 grille and emblem on the front of mine now.
