I'm still interested.

I am in, I was planning the same bumper. $300 for material and I don't have to cut it all out, great. Drop me a PM and I can have the cash on it's way.

Hey Dirtgypsy, how does my price compare to his then? 300 for the base kit?

I would have to double check all the figures but for his set up including dual swing outs it is around $1100 plus shipping.

Clint

fourrunner, i may be in for one, too. That is almost exactly the same thing I have been talking to my welding shop about. I am sending you a PM. Great work!

DUDE!!! I love this bumper!!! I would buy from you in a heartbeat!!! Let me know what I owe you and just ship it!!!!

I am working on getting a business license, so I will let everyone know what is going on. Should be a few weeks to get it done. Sounds like I might have 8-10 so far. Keep the requests coming.

business license???? To sell the bumpers???

I am extreemly interested, I live in Mountain Home ID. I am about 3 1/2 hours from you I could come pick it up no problem. Just let me know when and the money will be on its way.

Spend a couple hundred at a lawyers office and get a disclaimer written that would hold up anywhere, and make it a go. Seems to be lots of interest.

I would like to put me name in the hat for one of these. Would want dual swing outs. Tire carrier on the left from you, and just the arm on the right for me to add to later.

So if i read all this right, is it $300 for the lower section (w/ receiver tube) and $65 for the tire carrier, and right swing out?? how much? $365 total + shipping?

is this with the spindles, latches, latch plates and all?

put me on your list.

jeff

I'm really hard pressed to make up my mind between this and the 4x4 Labs bumper. They're both high quality pieces of equipment, but I really like having quarter panel protection. Problem with the 4x4 Labs stuff is that even though it's damn good, it ain't cheap.

Let me know. I am getting lots of interest and will be talking with the cutter soon. Maybe I can start working on a bumper with side protection. If anyone is interested, send me some simple sketches and I can try to put something together using my base with some modifications.

After you dropped for a while, I went and designed a bumper with integrated side protection. You can have the renderings because I've decided to go the tube bumper route. Let me find them....

Found them. If you want the files, send me a PM. They're all yours.

Sorry about that GLTHFJ60, real life caught up to me and had to put it on the back burner for a while. Send me what you have and will work on it.

No dude, it's fine! I wanted to see what I could come up with anyway and it ended up becoming a long term project. I actually made a full scale cardboard model of it and it looked really good! PM me with your email address.

Thanks Alaska60...

OK, so here goes. I have a list of about 11 so far who are either really interested or somewhat interested. I am out of town right now, so don't have access to the drawings I put together. What I want to do is put together a list of parts/pieces and pictures of those pieces that you would get with the "base" kit. When I mean "base", I am referring to just the lower section without tire carriers. I still need to track down someone who can mass produce the axle spindle. What I might do is let everyone source there own spindle.

On a side note, I will be drafting a release form that I would like people to sign releasing me from the dumb things you might try with the bumper. Everyone OK with that?

OK...so on Friday I will put together a few diagrams showing what pieces. As mentioned earlier, the carrier will obviously be way more money. Will also call the cutting shop and make sure we still have a go on the run and will final pricing from them as well. I would like to have a firm decision by people who are interested. Here is the list I have so far.

1. Slowerthanu
2. SpikeStripe
3. Jeepgod
4. MoGas
5. 4lux
6. ElliottB
7. Emes
8. LandBruiser69
9. Landcruisin'60
10. 82fj60bigblue
11. Spook50 (maybe)

Just reply in this post and I will PM you individually with more details.

That looks almost exactly like the renderings I made. Shoot me a pm or email with your email address and I'll send them right over.
