Rear badges - what is the safest way to remove?

Tried a search, but no luck. Anybody have a foolproof way of removing these for replacement? Thanks

you need to remove the keepers off the posts on the back side

spray them (nuts/keepers) several times before removing them, most of the time the bolts twist off
