Had to pull my rear axle to replace the rear bearing and found some twist on the axle. Is this considered normal or not?

I’d rather not unless it’s necessary. You're in there already, I'd put new axles in if it was me.

Yeah I hear you. I replaced front CVs and it wasn’t necessary, would love to go back in time and tell me to save $800.I’d rather not unless it’s necessary.
Maybe @cruiseroutfit can chime in on this.
Because I would rather spend my money actually wheeling rather than buying a part if it doesn't need replacing. Why would you not replace that if you have it out? The last thing I'd want is for it to fail later inconveniently screwing me in the moment when I could easily fix it now.
You do you but I think it needs replacing.Because I would rather spend my money actually wheeling rather than buying a part if it doesn't need replacing.![]()
Nice. Out of curiosity, Car-part.com or did you find it elsewhere? I’ve had trouble sourcing used 200 parts.I found a nice salvage axle so I’m going that route![]()
