not home where i can measure, but fwiw, annies reflectors are painted. we originally thought she may have had a repaint because there were some runs in the paint, but not positive. it seems weird to have a repaint considering the low mileage.

Hi Nuclear,

Back home already I think? Can you take measurements for me? It looks like the reflectors are mounted on different spots but then at least ours are the same. I won't be mounting side reflectors. Weird yours are painted while they are not stock.

Thanks, Paul.

first three are the side, last two are the rear

i question the not stock thing. early toyota literature shows both with and without reflectors. then, old pics show what appears to be painted and non painted. so confusing

They were port installed from what I know, so not all got them. My 25 never did, but all three of my 1962's did. All of the early models I've seen were non-painted stimsonite reflectors. Your reflectors appear to be the originals but were painted over when the truck was repainted.

Thank you nuclear, we were about to drill the holes for the reflector. Then we remembered a news item from last year and searched for that again. They're gonna change the rules. From 2018 cars older then 50 years no longer need inspection. This is now pre 1960. So, if we finish restoration before 2018 we'll go with adhesive reflectors again. And go on without reflectors after that.
