Real time - winshield wiper

My driver side windshield wiper isn't working. Passenger side is, so the motor is fine. I took the wiper off and the thing that turns it doesn't turn, so it has got to be a mechanical connection in between the passenger and driver wipers? So, how do I get in at it?

fold th windshield foward and take a looky inside

Hard top's on. Right now I am trying to get the dash ledge off so that I can get in at it. Any hints?

You are on the right track. Keep working on it. I can't remember how I did mine, but the result is that u will find a nut that has worked loose.
