Hey All. Changing all my spring bushings and shackles. This little bolt is holding up the entire project at this point. I'm assuming the threads near the head of the bolt are stripped and it won't back out. Any ideas on how to get this thing out?

put some pressure on the threaded side you could use a piece of metal and a c-clamp. basically pushing from the back side then try to spin it out. the metal is just to offset the c-clamp. tighten the clamp as you turn the bolt. once it starts moving out on its own you can remove the clamp.

if your messing with the spring. i would support the vehicle with a jack stand.

Thanks. Everything supported with jack stands.

I'm going to give this a try.

Thanks @fourtrax !! Worked like a charm. You can see how rocked the threads are below. Definitely going to place that with a new bolt. Good thing it's Easter Sunday and everything's closed.

Yeah, I had 6 ton jacks supporting the fame, 3 ton jacks supporting the axle, and the floor jack in the mix as well. I do plenty of dumb s***, I have zero interest in getting crushed. LOL
