Just getting started on this one, her name is Sushi Roll.

Did a lift. New clutch new rear main, New water pump, new oil pump, new timing chain, metal tuning chain guides, hi steer, power steering, 4 runner calipers, 80 brake master cylinder. Larger radiator.

About to do a head gasket. Gonna regear to 4.88, spartan lockers front and back and go with 35s.

Will eventually add wider axles in the rear and ifs hubs in the front.

Lots more to come.

Here’s my 1990 SR5
22RE/G58 with the VF1A TC
Has 4.88 gears front and rear
Eaton truetrac out back
Manual hubs
Chassis has 300K miles, motor has about 100K
33x10.5x15 BFG AT KO2 Tires.
Long travel front, OEM arms cut and extended 3.25”.
Upper arm is boxed with 4130 and tig welded, has sway-a-way torsion bars with 2.5x8.5 sway-a-way resi shocks.
Fox 2.0x4 bump stops.
After bump and strap it makes 13 ish inches of travel with stock t100 CV axels.

Rear has eibach coils and sway-a-way 3.0x12” resi shocks. Those are a combo of new/old SAW parts with OG kuster pistons. Makes about 15” of travel.

All the fabrication on the truck I’ve done myself. It’s a comfy cruiser that I actually daily drive. Use it for camping trips and having fun in the desert with my wife and friends.
